The program of the first day of the VI World Forum of Intercultural Dialogue on the “Dialogue for Peace and Global Security: Cooperation and Interaction”, which will be held in Baku from May 1 to 3, has been announced, Report informs the Culture Ministry of Azerbaijan, Report informs.
Two plenary sessions will be held on the first day of the forum.
The first plenary session is devoted to the “Use of soft power in the development of multilateral cooperation: strengthening solidarity and countering division.” During the panel discussions, moderated by Professor Michael Hardy, Director of the Center for Trust, Peace and Social Relations at Coventry University in the UK, Gabriela Ramos, Assistant Director-General for Social and Human Sciences at UNESCO, will give an opening speech.
The second plenary session will be devoted to the topic “Dialogue of generations in the name of peace and global security.” The opening speech at the plenary session will be made by the High Representative of the UN Alliance of Civilizations, Miguel Angel Moratinos.
