Pakistani citizen thanks Azerbaijani president for pardoning him

A Pakistani citizen who was released under a pardon order thanked the Azerbaijani president.
Report informs that a Pakistani citizen who was pardoned under the order "On pardoning a number of convicted persons" signed by President Ilham Aliyev, former convict Shah Nasrat Shah Yar Mat, told journalists that he was arrested in Azerbaijan for drug-related crimes.
"I was arrested for 9 years and 6 months, and I have been in prison for 6 years and 1 month. There were 3 years and 5 months left before the end of my prison term. I thank Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev for signing an order for our pardon," the Pakistani citizen noted.
