Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva monitors municipal elections

Voting in municipal elections began at the 13th polling station of the 23rd Nasimi-Sabail district.

According to Report, the polling station opened for voters at 08:00 AM.

Ombudsman Sabina Aliyeva is participating in the voting process as an observer.

Municipal elections are being held at 5,846 polling stations covering 118 electoral districts. 16,092 candidates are participating, competing for 8,071 seats in 685 municipalities.

According to the Central Election Commission (CEC), 5,961,987 voters have the right to vote in municipal elections.
