No complaints received regarding voting in Azerbaijan's municipal elections

Throughout the day, media and CEC representatives monitored the process through all possible means, and the impression is that the elections were conducted in accordance with the requirements of electoral legislation, said Rovzat Gasimov, Deputy Chairman of the Central Election Commission of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

The deputy chairman stated that no complaints, both formal and informal, have been received so far: "Around 35 inquiry-type appeals have been received through our hotline."

Gasimov also added that the observers participating in the election process have a positive assessment: "We hope that the positive assessment will remain unchanged until the end of the election process."

Municipal elections were held in Azerbaijan today.
