ICRC facilitates contact between people in Middle East and their relatives in Azerbaijan

The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has facilitated communication between people stranded in the Middle East and their families in Azerbaijan through 20 Red Cross Messages (containing brief family news), Report informs.

This initiative was part of the ICRC's efforts from January to June of 2024.

Additionally, 706 individuals, including mine survivors, family members of mine incident victims and children repatriated from the Middle East received cash assistance to cover their needs.
