Hongbo: Heydar Aliyev made important contribution to development of Azerbaijan-China relations

Improving the population's living standards is one of the most important results of the activities of the national leader of Azerbaijan, Heydar Aliyev, Special Representative of the Chinese Government on European Affairs Wu Hongbo said at an event dedicated to the 100th anniversary of the national leader of Azerbaijan Heydar Aliyev, Report informs.

Speaking about the many achievements of Heydar Aliyev's many years of work, he noted: "Heydar Aliyev carried out important work, the result of which was the signing of the Contract of the Century."

According to Hongbo, Heydar Aliyev made an important contribution to the development of bilateral relations with China, in particular in trade and economic cooperation and the establishment of friendly ties between the two countries.
