Elchin Yusubov talks on scale of demining in Khankandi, Aghdara and Khojaly

Large-scale demining operations and the clearance of unexploded ordnance continue in Khankandi, Aghdara and Khojaly, Elchin Yusubov, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankandi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, said during an event held within the framework of WUF13 in Baku.

Report quotes him as saying 1,456 hectares of territory in Khankandi have been cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance, while 10,359 hectares have been cleared in Aghdara and 9,874 hectares in Khojaly.
