Department Head: Comprehensive investigation team created regarding Azerbaijanis killed in Russia

A comprehensive investigation team has been created at the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan to investigate the criminal case related to Azerbaijanis killed in Russia, stated Nemat Avazov, head of the Investigation Department at the Prosecutor General's Office, Report informs.

Avazov made the remark during a press conference held at the Prosecutor General's Office on July 2 regarding the opening of a criminal case related to Azerbaijanis murdered in Russia.

He stated that Russia's operational search structures have detained at least 14 people, and 12 of them, with the exception of two, were citizens of Azerbaijan. It has been determined that physical violence was used against 7 of them.
