Bako Sahakyan names generals who led military operations during April clashes

The names of the generals who led military operations on the Armenian side during the April 2016 clashes were revealed at today's session of the Baku Military Court.

According to Report, during the trial, Bako Sahakyan — the so-called "former president" of the separatist regime established in the formerly occupied territories of Azerbaijan — answered questions posed by state prosecutor Tarana Mammadova.

In his testimony, Sahakyan stated that at the time, military operations on the Armenian side were led by Colonel-General Seyran Ohanyan, then Minister of Defense of Armenia; Colonel-General Yuri Khachaturov, Chief of the General Staff of the Armenian Armed Forces; and Lieutenant-General Levon Mnatsakanyan, commander of the largest military formation of the Armenian Armed Forces — the "army" of the unrecognized regime.
