Aziz Alakbarli: For 200 years, Armenians and their patrons have been committing ethnic cleansing against Azerbaijanis

As a result of the policies pursued by Armenians and their patrons in Azerbaijan and the South Caucasus over the past 200 years, deportations, genocide and ethnic cleansing have been carried out against Azerbaijanis, Chairman of the Western Azerbaijan Community, MP Aziz Alakbarli said at a public hearing in parliament on the topic "The Role of NGOs in the Process of Returning to Western Azerbaijan," Report informs.

He noted that at one time, as a result of the efforts of Armenians and their patrons, information about these processes was hidden: "Therefore, even new generations grew up without knowing about these tragedies. President Ilham Aliyev, in his historic speech on December 24, 2022, announced a new idea of ​​the Azerbaijani state and people. NGOs should also play a role in this issue."
