Azerbaijani President makes post on 18th death anniversary of National Leader Heydar Aliyev

President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev has made a post on his official Twitter page to commemorate the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Report informs.

In his post, Ilham Aliyev quoted the great leader:

“For me, protecting the independence of Azerbaijan, preserving it, making it eternal is more important than my life, my soul.”

Today marks 18 years since the death of Heydar Aliyev, the architect and founder of the modern independent Azerbaijani state, world-famous political figure, national leader of the Azerbaijani people.
