Azerbaijan to join Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings

Azerbaijan will join the Council of Europe Convention on Action against Trafficking in Human Beings, Chairman of the Human Rights Committee of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis (Parliament), Zahid Oruj, said, Report informs.
He made the remark during the discussion of the annual report of Azerbaijan’s National Coordinator on Combating Human Trafficking at today's meeting of the Milli Majlis’s Human Rights and Law Policy and State-Building committees.
Oruj noted that the draft law prepared in this regard is currently in the coordination stage.
