Azerbaijan sees drop in number of marriages and growth in divorces

The Ministry of Justice registered 6,739 marriages and 3,456 divorces in January-February 2024, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
Compared to the same period in 2023, the number of marriages per 1,000 people has dropped from 4.6 to 40, and the number of divorces rose from 1.8 to 2.1.
