Azerbaijan sees drop in number of marriages and growth in divorces

The Ministry of Justice registered 3,657 marriages and 1,729 divorces in January 2024, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.
Compared to the same period in 2023, the number of marriages in every 1,000 people has dropped from 4.6 to 4.2 and the number of divorces rose from 1.6 to 2.0.
