Azerbaijan's prime minister holds operational meeting at oil refinery after blaze

Prime Minister Ali Asadov held an operational meeting regarding the fire that broke out today at the oil refinery in the Nizami district of the capital.

The government's press service told Report that the meeting took place at the facility with the participation of the Minister of Emergency Situations Kamaladdin Heydarov, heads of relevant agencies, SOCAR President Rovshan Najaf, and other officials.

Ali Asadov visited the site to assess the situation and observed the progress of the fire extinguishing efforts.

Heydarov, Najaf, and other authorized individuals reported on the causes of the fire and assessed the damage caused. The Prime Minister instructed a detailed investigation into the causes of the incident and measures to prevent such incidents in the future.
