Azerbaijan reveals number of candidates nominated for municipal elections

The number of candidates nominated for Azerbaijan's municipal elections scheduled for January 29, 2025, has been announced, Report informs.

Mazahir Panahov, the Chairman of the Central Election Commission (CEC), stated during today's CEC meeting that 1,531 people have been nominated as candidates for the municipal elections.

He noted that this number may increase.
