Azerbaijan reduces fee for multiple entry visas for US and Korean citizens

Azerbaijan's Cabinet of Ministry has reduced the multiple-entry visa fee more than twofold for the citizens of the United States and Korea (Decision No. 489).

Report informs that the fee for issuing a multiple-entry permit to Azerbaijan currently makes $350.

In general, it is crucial to consider the principle of reciprocity in determining the state duty for the issuance of multiple-entry visas to foreigners traveling to Azerbaijan.

The United States currently charges $160 for multiple-entry permits for tourism, student and exchange purposes, and $190 for labor, inter-company transfers, and clergy visas, issued to Azerbaijani citizens.

The US Embassy also asked Azerbaijan to issue more long-term visas to US citizens and to reduce the number of multiple permits, issued by the principle of reciprocity.

The Korean side charges Azerbaijani citizens $ 150 for a multiple-entry visa.
