A head of state should have the political will for a country to hold democratic elections and, Azerbaijan is an example to the world in this regard, Chairman of Azerbaijan’s Central Election Commission (CEC) Mazahir Panahov said, Report informs.
Panahov made the remark while speaking at the meeting held for the heads of the precinct election commissions at the CEC.
“On the initiative of the head of the state, webcams have been installed in the majority of polling stations. These devices activate half an hour before the start of the election process and remain on until the process concludes. All election procedures are visible through these cameras, and no registration is required to see the footage. The live feed can be accessed from anywhere in the world,” the chairman highlighted.
