Azerbaijan establishes Digital Development and Transport Ministry 

President Ilham Aliyev has issued a decree on “Some measures on improvement of management in the field of digitalization, innovation, high technologies and communication in the Republic of Azerbaijan.”

Report informs that upon the decree, the Ministry of Transport, Communication and High Technologies has been renamed the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport.

Following public legal entities have been established under the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport:

- Information Communication Technologies Agency;
- Innovation and Digital Development Agency through the reorganization of the National Nuclear Research Center CJSC, the Innovation Agency public legal entity, and the High Technology Research Center by being merged.
