Azerbaijan appeals to relevant Russian authorities regarding Yekaterinburg incidents

Azerbaijan has appealed to the relevant Russian authorities regarding the Yekaterinburg incidents, said Nemat Avazov, Head of the Investigation Department at the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan, Report informs.

Avazov made this statement during a press conference held at the Prosecutor General's Office on July 2 regarding the opening of a criminal case related to Azerbaijanis murdered in Russia.

According to him, the appeal requested the competent authorities of Russia to conduct appropriate investigative actions: "We have also requested Russia to conduct relevant examinations and general inspections."

Avazov emphasized that Azerbaijan hopes the Russian side will begin more rapid investigation and inquiry actions.
