Aygun Aliyeva: Zangazur Corridor will become bridge connecting Turkic World

The Zangazur corridor will become a bridge connecting the Turkic world, the executive director of the Agency for State Support to Non-Governmental Organizations of Azerbaijan, Aygun Aliyeva, told a panel session organized by the Republic of Türkiye Directorate of Communications in honor of the Day of Turkic Solidarity, Report informs.

Aliyeva noted that, despite the historical injustices aimed at disuniting the Turkic states, this has not been achieved:

"Today, the Turkic world is not just an idea, but a reality and a historical mission. This is our common heritage, which we are obliged to protect and defend. Azerbaijan's victory in the Second Karabakh War is a victory for the entire Turkic world. We firmly believe that the Zangazur Corridor will soon become a reality and serve as a bridge uniting the Turkic countries."

Aygun Aliyeva spoke about the activities of the Agency for State Support of NGOs and reported that a Forum of Non-Governmental Organizations of Azerbaijan and Kazakhstan will be held this year. "A meeting of civil societies of the Turkic countries that are part of the OTS is also planned," she added.
