The 10 years of the Great Leader`s tenure as President – from 1993 to 2003 – were years of stability and development, which laid the foundations for a future leap of Azerbaijan, said President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev as he attended a solemn opening ceremony of the Heydar Aliyev Street in Astana, Report informs referring to AZERTAC.

The head of state said that Heydar Aliyev had led Azerbaijan in the most difficult period, in essence, prevented further troubles and tragedies of the Azerbaijani people.
