UK Azerbaijanis issue statement on death of journalists in landmine explosion

The UK Azerbaijanis have issued a statement regarding the killing of Azerbaijani journalists in the Kalbajar landmine explosion, Report informs, citing the State Committee for Work with Diaspora Associations.

Members of the British Azerbaijanis Association addressed a statement over the death of three people, including journalists, in a mine blast in Kalbajar to the members of the Institute for International Peace Studies, the Council of Europe's missions in different countries, the UN Human Rights Council and the High Commissioner for Human Rights. On behalf of Farida Panahova, Vugar Akhundov, and organization members, the statement was sent to HALO Trust, Human Rights Watch, its members, and the European Parliament's Coordinating Office in the United Kingdom.
