Body of Azerbaijani citizen, died in car accident in US, brought to Baku

The body of Azerbaijani citizen Aydin Mammadov, who died in a car accident in South Carolina, USç on November 9, has been brought to Azerbaijan, Report informs.

Head of the Azerbaijan Friendship Organization Adika Igbal said that Mammadov's body was sent to Baku for burial with the support of the Azerbaijani State Committee for Work with the Diaspora and the Azerbaijani Embassy in the United States.

"As the deceased's parents were unaware of the incident, we did not share the information on social media. Due to the limited financial resources of his parents and relatives who do not live in the United States, the State Committee for Work with the Diaspora did not spare its support. I thank the State Committee, the Embassy and our compatriots for their sensitive attitude and assistance in this matter," said the head of the diaspora organization.
