150 Azerbaijanis evacuated from Odessa today 

“150 Azerbaijanis have been evacuated from Odessa today,” Chairman of ‘Birlik Odessa Diaspora of Azerbaijanis’ public organization Rovshan Guliyev told Report.

He said nearly 120 people were evacuated yesterday: “Our compatriots we sent today went to the Moldovan border. The employees of the embassy will provide them with places. It is not easy to find a vehicle here. However, we send if someone applies and when a certain number of people gather.”

The Chairman noted that the situation in Odessa is stable: “There are 30,000 Azerbaijanis in Odessa. Generally, we cannot say how many people have left the city. Because some leave the city with their own cars.”

Head of Azerbaijan House in Hungary Ibrahim Safarli said that 10 Azerbaijanis crossed into Hungary yesterday: “6 of our compatriots were sent to Azerbaijan.”
