Latvia is interested in cooperating with Azerbaijan in supporting museums, Latvian Culture Minister Nauris Puntulis told Report.
"Seven years ago, when I was an adviser to the Minister of Culture, I attended a Baku conference with a government delegation to discuss cultural cooperation between the two countries. At that time, Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics also made a significant contribution to the collaboration. I also liked the measures taken by Azerbaijan to strengthen museums further. There are many examples of this. And there are great opportunities for cooperation in this area," he said.
