Azerbaijan’s Shusha, South Korea’s Andong become sister cities

The cultural capital of Azerbaijan, the city of Shusha, and the South Korean city of Andong have become sister cities, Report informs.
“A memorandum of understanding was signed between Shusha and Andong on the establishment of the "Friendship Cities" relationship. The memorandum was signed by Aydin Karimov, the President's special representative for the Shusha region and Kwon Ki-chang, the mayor of Andong, which is considered to be one of the tourism and cultural centers of South Korea.
According to the document, the two sister cities intend to promote cultural, social and economic relations, as well as friendly ties, and expand areas of joint activities,” Karimov tweeted.
