Preparation issues for COP29 discussed with president of COP26 in Baku

Alok Sharma, President of the 26th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP26), visited the Ministry of Environment and Natural Resources, Report informs.

"It was great honor to meet Sir Alok Sharma, President of COP26. We’ve discussed energy transition, preparations for the upcoming COP29 in Baku. As I get to know COP Community, it is amazing to see how helpful and enthusiastic everyone is," Nigar Arpadarai, UN Climate Change High-Level Champion for COP29 Azerbaijan said on X.
