OTS launches Climate Resilient Villages Forum in Baku

The Organization of Turkic States (OTS) established the Climate Resilient Villages Forum during the ministerial session on climate resilient smart villages, held as part of the COP29 in Baku.

According to Report, the contract, signed by the participating parties, aims to create a platform for deep exchange on climate adaptation, assessment of regional challenges, and strengthening the resilience of farming communities in the Turkic countries.

During the event, parties shared best practices and evidence-based approaches on rural development, smart village initiatives, sustainable and climate-resilient rural projects, and the localization of SDGs.
