Nine information centers to be created in Baku for COP29 participants

Nine information centers will be established in Baku for COP29 participants, Ilkin Javadov, Head of Visitor Experience Department at COP29 Azerbaijan Operations Company said in his statement to journalists, Report informs.

According to Javadov, seven of them will be in the city, and two more will be near the airport.

The company official said that the main mission regarding the COP29 conference to be held in Baku on November 11-22 this year is to organize the conference at the highest level: "The department is placing directional and informative signs for guests coming to the country. Special temporary markings will be placed on vehicles intended for guests and participants. Additionally, there will be informative and directional signs in the airport and Koroghlu metro station areas. This will help visitors find locations more quickly and conveniently."

Javadov stated that a digital map has been created to help locate areas around the event venue: "Visitors will be able to find any point using the map."
