Mukhtar Babayev mulls increasing climate financing with Andre Correa do Lago

COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev has held a meeting with COP30 President Andre Correa do Lago and discussed the Baku-to-Belem Roadmap, according to the COP29 page on X, Report informs.

"The COP29 President held a bilateral meeting, the IMF Spring Meetings, with Ambassador Mr. André Corrêa do Lago, COP30 President-Designate where they discussed important areas of collaboration this year, including the Baku-to-Belem Roadmap for scaling up climate finance to $1.3 trillion by 2035. The COP29 President reiterated Azerbaijan’s full support for Brazil in making COP30 in Belem a success."
