Mukhtar Babayev mulls COP29 success with IDB president

Azerbaijan's Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources and President of the 29th session of the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference of Parties (COP29) Mukhtar Babayev has held a bilateral meeting with the head of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Muhammad Al Jasser during the Africa Mission 300 Energy Summit, Report informs.

"At the Africa Energy Summit, COP29 President Mukhtar Babayev held a bilateral meeting with Dr Muhammad Al Jasser, President of the Islamic Development Bank. They reflected on the successes of COP29, notably the Baku Finance Goal, as well as looking ahead to how to meet the $1.3 trillion target," reads the COP29 page on X.
