COP29 President, UN official mull preparations for climate conference

Mukhtar Babayev, COP29 President-designate and Azerbaijan’s Minister of Ecology and Natural Resources, met with Bik Lum, the head of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) representation in Azerbaijan, to discuss preparations for COP29, Report informs, referring to the ministry.
During their discussion, Babayev and Lum exchanged views on the upcoming COP29 event, which is scheduled to take place in November 2024.
