Green Growth Portal presented at COP29

The Green Growth Portal was presented at the Trade and Investment Pavilion at COP29 in Baku.

According to Report, the portal was developed in collaboration between Azerbaijan's Ministry of Economy and Harvard University's Growth Lab Center for International Development.

Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov, opening the event, stated that this innovative platform aims to promote sustainable economic growth and green investments.

"The tool, developed by our friends - the Harvard team led by Professor Ricardo Hausmann, is precisely a reflection or practical and pragmatic application of such an approach, which - I think this is the most important part - addresses issues that go far beyond any national jurisdiction, any individual state, political beliefs," said the minister.

The Green Growth Portal is a web tool that helps countries identify their best opportunities for green growth and guides policymakers in developing these opportunities.
