General: State Border Service completed all tasks related to COP29

The Border Troops of the State Border Service (SBS) took necessary measures to prepare for COP29 and properly fulfilled all assigned tasks, Deputy Chief of SBS, Commander of Border Troops Lieutenant General Araz Mammadov said during a briefing at the "Shamkir" border detachment.
Report quotes him as saying that thanks to the availability of necessary border infrastructure, professional personnel, modern weapons and equipment, the SBS is capable of performing assigned tasks at a high level, regardless of climatic conditions, geographical terrain, and conditions.
"The country's land borders are vigilantly guarded, and border security is maintained at a high level," he noted.
