Faig Mutallimov: COP29 to contribute to strengthening co-op in fighting climate change

Hosting COP29 in Baku underscores the government’s commitment to respecting the environment, the head of the Environmental Policy Department under Azerbaijan’s Ministry of Ecology, Faig Mutallimov, said at the high-level meeting “Pathway to COP29: Sustainable and Resilient Future” in Zangilan, Report informs.

“Azerbaijan is honored to host COP29. This event will provide an opportunity for world leaders to come together, exchange views and strengthen cooperation in the fight against climate change. Hosting COP29 in Baku also highlights Azerbaijan’s commitment to respecting the environment,” Mutallimov noted.
