Director General: Egypt fully supports Baku Call on Climate Action

Egypt fully supports the Baku Call on Climate Action for Peace, Relief, and Recovery (BCCAP) and the creation of the Baku Climate and Peace Action Hub aimed at peacefully combating climate change in the political arena, Ahmed Abdel-Latif, Director General of the Cairo International Center for Conflict Resolution, Peacekeeping and Peacebuilding (CCCPA), said during a press conference held within the framework of COP29, Report informs.

"At the high-level conference held this morning, the Baku call and Baku hub, which Egypt fully supports, were created. For the first time, the COP presidency has come up with a climate and peace initiative titled ‘Climate Action for Peace Preservation' and we are determined to promote this initiative," he noted.
