CAREC's regional climate solutions to be presented at COP29

The Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Program (CAREC), an initiative of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), is set to present its joint climate solutions at COP29 in Baku, Azerbaijan, from November 11-22, which will be accompanied by a call for collective action. The solutions are to be discussed at the CAREC Ministerial Conference on November 8.
According to Report, citing ADB, the announcement was made during the 3rd meeting of CAREC's Working Group on Climate Change (WGCC) held in Baku.
Since its establishment by ADB in 1997, the CAREC Program has been promoting economic cooperation among countries in Central Asia, the South Caucasus, and South Asia.
