Azerbaijan, Slovakia expand cooperation in trade, investment, and green energy

Azerbaijan and Slovakia discussed expanding cooperation in trade, investment, and renewable energy, as well as opportunities for exchanging technologies and experience in energy transition and the green energy sector.
Report informs, citing the Ministry of Economy, that the discussions took place during a meeting between Azerbaijan's Minister of Economy Mikayil Jabbarov and Slovakia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Environment Tomáš Taraba within the framework of COP29.
During the meeting, the importance of continuing joint activities to strengthen economic ties, including increasing trade turnover, was emphasized, and agenda items for the joint working group on Azerbaijani-Slovak economic cooperation were discussed.
