Azerbaijan's Ambassador to Iran discusses ECO's participation in COP29 with Secretary General

Azerbaijan's Permanent Representative to the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) and Ambassador to Iran, Ali Alizada, discussed the upcoming participation in COP29 with ECO Secretary General Asad Khan, Report informs, citing the organization's press service.

Asad M. Khan noted Baku's support and the country's active role in advancing the organization's agenda, and informed the ambassador about recent meetings with ECO member states' ministers in New York, Ashgabat, and Tashkent.

"The meeting also discussed ECO's participation in COP29 and the events it organizes within COP29, including the ministerial meeting on circular economy, environment, and an event by the ECO Clean Energy Center," the statement says.
