As President of COP28, UAE fully supports Azerbaijan

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) expressed support for Azerbaijan, which will host the 29th session of the Conference of the Parties to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP29), Report informs, citing the press service of the UAE Permanent Mission to the UN.

“As President of COP28, during the briefing held on the occasion of Earth Day, we expressed our full support for the Permanent Mission of Azerbaijan to chair COP29. The UAE will continue to work closely with Azerbaijan's COP29 Presidency and Brazil's COP30 Presidency through the COP Troika and will ensure continuity, maintain momentum, and support the implementation of COP28 outcomes,” the UAE diplomatic mission to the UN noted.
