Turkish companies might increase investments in Karabakh

Azerbaijan and Türkiye discussed increasing the investments of Turkish companies in the territories of Azerbaijan liberated from occupation, Report informs, citing the Azerbaijani Economy Ministry.

Under the organization of the Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), a round table was held with the participation of delegations from Türkiye and Azerbaijan.

At the meeting, the Turkish delegation, headed by the Chairman of the Board of Trustees and the Board of the Foundation for Friendship, Cooperation and Solidarity "Türkiye-Azerbaijan" Aygun Attar, represented 23 companies. Representatives of AZPROMO, the State Service for Antimonopoly Regulation and Control of the Consumer Market, AzerGold CJSC and employees of the trade mission of Azerbaijan in Türkiye took part in the event under the leadership of the Deputy Economy Minister of Azerbaijan Samad Bashirli.

Within the framework of the event, the participants discussed the investment prospects of the territories liberated from occupation, and the increase in investments in Karabakh by Turkish companies. The Turkish delegation was informed about the favorable environment created for the effective implementation of the investment potential of Karabakh and East Zangazur.
