Within the framework of the 11th Summit of the Organization of Turkic States OTS) held in Bishkek, member states have signed a landmark Digital Economy Partnership Agreement (DEPA), Report informs, citing Azerbaijan’s Economy Ministry.
The agreement, initiated by the Center for Analysis and Coordination of the 4th Industrial Revolution (4SIM) under the Ministry of Economy, aims to deepen cooperation among OTS members in crucial areas such as e-commerce development, legislative harmonization, customs regulations, and financial technologies (FinTech).
Moreover, the implementation of the document will contribute to the consolidation of capabilities in the areas of consumer rights protection and cyber security in digital trade among member states of the organization.
