Turan Textile exhibition opens in Baku

The Turan Textile exhibition, which holds significant importance in terms of developing regional economic cooperation, opened today in Baku.
According to Report, representatives of various government bodies, businessmen from Turkic states, local entrepreneurs, and others took part in the opening ceremony.
Jamid Movsumov, Chairman of the Azerbaijan Franchise Association (AFA), noted that this exhibition not only contributes to the development of the textile industry but also strengthens economic and cultural ties among Turkic states:
"This exhibition serves as an important platform for creating new opportunities for cooperation among the member states of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS), establishing business partnerships, and accessing regional markets."
According to him, about 100 local and foreign brands are participating in the exhibition:
"Companies from Türkiye, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan, and other countries are showcasing their products and technologies. The exhibition will feature product presentations and bilateral meetings."
The exhibition, which will run until April 30, is expected to include discussions on new cooperation opportunities and preliminary agreements on future projects.
