Tobacco export revenues down 10% in Azerbaijan

In 2021, Azerbaijan imported tobacco and its industrial substitutes worth $90.9 million, up 6.3% from the previous year, Report informs referring to the State Customs Committee.

During the reporting period, tobacco and its industrial substitutes worth $16.1 million were exported from Azerbaijan, which is $1.4 million or 9.5% less than the annual indicator.

Thus, import expenditures on tobacco and its industrial substitutes accounted for 0.8% of Azerbaijan's total import expenditures, and export revenues accounted for 0.1% of total export revenues.
