With the support of the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan and the organization of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO), the Economic Highlights – Stepping Stones to Shared Prosperity exhibition was held at the Uz Expo Center in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, Report informs, citing the ministry.
Delegations of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan led by Minister Mikayil Jabbarov and Minister of Investments, Industry and Trade of Uzbekistan Laziz Kudratov visited the exhibition.
The exhibition, decorated with four magnificent castles reflecting the rich architectural heritage of Azerbaijan, is divided into several thematic blocks. The event features video footage of Azerbaijan’s industrial and agricultural products, energy capabilities, transport and logistics opportunities, tourism offerings, and ongoing innovative projects, as well as COP29 climate conference and Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan economic relations.
Visitors are also given the opportunity to get acquainted with the restoration of the liberated territories, and projects on the construction of new settlements and infrastructure construction are presented here.
Food products manufactured under the Made in Azerbaijan brand, including alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, canned goods, agricultural and confectionery products, as well as construction materials and other products, are displayed at the exhibition.
In the exhibition, a special place is allocated to traditional textiles. Handicrafts belonging to different carpet weaving schools of Azerbaijan are displayed there, and visitors are informed about the traditional art of carpet weaving.
