In the first two months of 2025, Azerbaijan’s state enterprises saw a familiar leader in non-oil-gas exports—the State Oil Company of Azerbaijan (SOCAR)'s Marketing and Economic Operations Department, which recorded $70.4 million in exports, Report informs.
According to the February issue of the Export Review by the Center for Analysis of Economic Reforms and Communications (CAERC), SOCAR Polymer LLC—where SOCAR holds a 57% stake—ranked second with $30.3 million in exports, followed by Azeraluminium LLC, managed by Azerbaijan Investment Holding, with $23.4 million, and AzerGold CJSC with $21.6 million.
For the first time, SOCAR’s Gas Export Department entered the top 10 list, securing fifth place with $15.6 million in exports. Other enterprises in the ranking include Azerpambig Agrarian Industrial Complex LLC ($7.8 million), Azerbaijan Airlines CJSC ($1.9 million), Azerenerji OJSC ($617,600), Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic’s State Energy Service ($164,600), and Garadagh Glass Factory OJSC ($43,000).
