Second stage of EU extension project supporting entrepreneurship in Azerbaijan starts

Baku. 19 May. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani business organizations will travel to Europe for trainings within the framework of the project “The East Invest-2”. Report informs referring to foreign media, alongside Azerbaijan, representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Georgia, Moldova and Ukraine will also participate at trainings.

The report says, members of financial chambers, federations, business and professional associations, as well as active institutions engaged in trade facilitation and investment promotion can apply for attendance until June 15.

Notably, trial program started in August 2016 and provided trainings for 6 countries-members of Eastern Partnership (EaP) in Europe. At the same time, 3 training missions travelled to EaP countries.

Notably, “The East Invest-2” is a trade facilitation project for regional investment and economic development in Eastern Neighborhood. This project has been launched within the framework of EU Eastern Partnership initiative. The main goal of the project is to provide support to small and medium size enterprises in 6 EaP countries.
