Since 2017, the Russian Export Center (REC) has supported exports to Azerbaijan totaling more than $3 billion, according to Nuri Guliyev, head of the REC representative office in Azerbaijan, who spoke during a presentation session at a business mission of Moscow enterprises, according to Report.
Guliyev emphasized that the REC office in Azerbaijan has been actively assisting Russian companies in entering the local market since its establishment in 2017.
"Over the years, we have facilitated exports exceeding $3 billion, marking a significant milestone in trade relations between our countries. Additionally, promoting products under the Made in Russia brand remains a key priority," he stated.
Azerbaijan continues to be one of Russia's major trade partners among CIS countries. By the end of 2024, trade turnover between the two nations reached $4.8 billion, with Russian exports accounting for $3.6 billion. These include food products, agricultural machinery, industrial goods, and construction materials.
As part of the VEB.RF group, the REC provides both financial and non-financial support to Russian exporters, helping them expand into international markets. In recent years, the center has intensified its collaboration with Azerbaijan, organizing business missions, consultations, and contract signings to further strengthen trade ties.
