Positive balance of Azerbaijani foreign trade turnover decreased by 47%

Baku. 14 November. REPORT.AZ/ In January-September this year, Azerbaijani physical and legal persons have carried out trade operations with partners from 174 countries, products exported to 103 countries, imported from 168.

Report informs citing the State Statistical Committee, foreign trade turnover made 15 781,3 mln USD during the reporting period, taking into account statistical estimate cost of export crude oil and natural gas, registered at the customs authorities under incomplete customs clearance.

In 9 months of the year, export value made 9 579,8 mln USD, import value 6 201,5 mln USD, which resulted in 3 378,3 mln USD of positive trade balance. So, trade turnover down by 19%, export 25.7%, import 5.7%, and positive balance by 46.5% in annual comparison.

38.3% of trade turnover accounted for the EU countries, 12.1% of the CIS, 49.6% for other countries.
